Movember Story
03 November 2009
Over 2,500 men are diagnosed with prostate cancer every year making the need for support increasingly vital.
This November, Auckland designer CATALINA and online store endemicworld.com are showing their support by donating $10 from every sale of their Mo necklaces to the Movember Foundation.
Antonia Prebble, Outrageous Fortune actress who features in the CATALINA campaign, says "I think it's great that CATALINA is getting involved in this way. It is a simple, fun but also very effective way for women to contribute to this very important cause".
This is the first year CATALINA designer, Catalina Miguel has participated in the Movember Foundation and her ultimate goal is to sell as many necklaces as possible
throughout the month of November. “I think this could make such a difference and it’s a great alternative for us women to help out the brothers, fathers, husbands, and other special men in our lives.”
Elliot from endemicworld.com says... "this is so cool, chicks can't grow mo's, but want to get amongst it and support Movember, now they can thanks to Catalina".
The Mo Necklaces can be purchased online at endemicworld.com
All funds raised for the Movember Foundation go to The Cancer Society and Mental Health Foundation of New Zealand.
